Network Game: Destroy the Submarine

This Bachelor's Thesis describes development of a simple network computer game. This thesis describes basic scheme of computer game development. Also an analysis of various implementation of network is made in this thesis. The output of this work is a computer program written in the C++ language. For implementation of the network the Boost 1.50.0 library was used. Network communication was implemented as client-server architecture with usage of the UDP protocol. For implementation of graphics and sound, the Allegro 5.0.7 library was used.

There are include descriptions how configure most known Jabber servers for use of this application. There are contain XML schemes of uses files too.

Bachelor thesis deal with the proposal database system tailored to company requirements ELTEX electronics. Database design is realized in a database system MySQL. The database is designed for archiving and visualization of data obtained from measuring devices. Data is saved to the database server, where is the MySQL database system with the designed database.

In my bachelor´s thesis I deal with an issue of extension of virtual platform in a great company. In the first part of my thesis I work with familiarization with the company and analysis of the actual IT structure. The second part is theoretically focused on area of virtualization, reasons for usage and types of virtualization. Furthermore, I describe the most used platforms from Microsoft and VMware companies, in addition I compare them. The last part of my thesis is about a proposal of the most suitable solution and a total evaluation of benefits for the company.

Server application for distributed computing

This diploma thesis deals with the realization of a server application for distributed calculations programmed on .NET platform and in C # language in development environment Visual Studio 2015. The diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with technologies, which are needed for implementation of the application. Here is how each technology is used and set up to serve the purpose of the master's thesis. In the theoretical part, functionality is shown in the examples. The practical part describes the layout of the application and the functionality of the individual part of the application. The architecture of each part of the application is presented in the UML class diagram.

HAM Station Log Book for Linux

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement an amateur radio logbook software for a GNU/Linux operating system. After the short introduction there are described existent logbook applications together with analysis of their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this analysis the logbook application is designed and implemented. Finally, there is a summary and discussion of possibilities for further improvements.

Master’s thesis deals with the use of virtualization and consolidation technologies in order to optimize IT infrastructure in a selected company. The analysis contains current state of IT infrastructure and requirements for future upgrade. The theoretical part contains description of technologies and procedures used in virtualization and consolidation. Subsequently, the proposal of optimization and expansion of IT equipment is created together with management, implementation and economic evaluation of the solution.

Present world of server applications is dynamically developing branch of IT. With multicore CPU appearance well designed multithreading applications gain additional performance. This thesis is trying to sketch out some basis of multithreaded application creation and synchronisation. Usage of this principles will help me to develop general-purpose parallel server core. Whole semantics of communication protocol for message sending is based on that core.
